The Way You Move

Things Get A Little Dirty During This Routine To Justin Timberlake’s ‘Filthy’

“This ain’t the clean version.”

The Way You Move celebrates dancing and choreography videos that showcase fancy footwork in genres as diverse as ballet, hip-hop, tap, ballroom, and more. Learn a new routine the first Thursday of each month, and throughout the calendar when you get the urge to move.

Even almost two decades after NSYNC's heyday, Justin Timberlake is a hot commodity — especially this week, since the 37-year-old pop star performed an energetic (and controversial) halftime show for February 4's Super Bowl LII.

So the timing couldn't be better for DanceOn's latest YouTube video, a hard-hitting dance routine set to JT's track "Filthy," the first single from his new album, Man of the Woods. If DanceOn seeks to showcase the newest dance trends paired alongside the newest hits, mission successful.

In the video, Jared Jenkins performs his own original choreography in the Playground LA dance studio, flanked by dancers Amanda Grind and Darnell White Jr.

"'No, this ain't the clean version,' " Jenkins wrote on Instagram, quoting the song's lyrics. "Ayyyeeee. @justintimberlake ate this song. Thank you @theplaygroundla for a great class last week. Shoutout to @amanda_grind and @darnellwhitejr for rocking with me."

According to an online bio, Jenkins graduated from Georgetown University with a finance degree but soon realized his passion for dance. Now he's a faculty member at New York City's Broadway Dance Center, and a guest teacher at Los Angeles' Moment Lifestyles and Millennium Dance Complex. This talented guy's other credits include the Soul Train Awards, Good Morning America, Cirque du Soleil, Step Up 2: The Streets, and a Jennifer Lopez commercial. We bet this "Filthy" routine will only get him more work!
