The Way You Move

9-Year-Old Viral Dancer Shows Off Her Moves On 'Ellen'

"Dancing makes me happy."

The Way You Move celebrates dancing and choreography videos that showcase fancy footwork in genres as diverse as ballet, hip-hop, tap, ballroom, and more. Learn a new routine the first Thursday of each month, and throughout the calendar when you get the urge to move.

During her recent appearance on The Ellen Show, one viral, 9-year-old dancer who goes by the stage name Amy tells Ellen DeGeneres that she simply dances to be happy.

"Dancing makes me happy," the hip-hop dancer tells DeGeneres through a translator. "It drives me to continue dancing."

Amy, who's from China and is visiting the United States for the first time, also tells DeGeneres about visiting a dance studio and eating chocolate ice cream before taking to the show's stage to perform for the audience.

With that, Amy shows off her quick, hard-hitting moves set to G-Eazy's "No Limit" featuring A$AP Rocky and Cardi B, smiling throughout the performance.

"That was so good!" DeGeneres says at the end of the performance. We love when DeGeneres gives young, passionate kids the opportunity to showcase their talent on her stage — and this is no exception.
