The 'Voice' Coaches Couldn't Get Enough Of This Singer's Killer Bruno Mars Cover

But no one was more impressed than his mom.

There's another four-chair turn to look forward to on tonight's new episode of The Voice — but you don't have to wait that long to see it because the show shared a sneak peek video. One listen and chances are you'll be ready to hear more from Jon Mero.

Before auditioning, Mero said his strategy was "to really connect with people and put my emotions into the song." He definitely did what he set out to do, by totally slaying a cover of Bruno Mars' sexy ballad "Versace on the Floor." It was enough to inspire three coaches — Blake Shelton, Jennifer Hudson, and Adam Levine — to push their buttons almost simultaneously.

It didn't take long for Miley Cyrus to join them. As Mero got to the chorus, she hit the button with her platform heel and put herself into the running. After the singer nailed his final high note, the coaches had a lot to say.

"I did not want that to end," Hudson told him. Levine, meanwhile, compared him to Prince and added that "it would be an honor to work with you."

But no one was a bigger fan of Mero's performance than his mom, whom he brought on stage afterward. "This lady right here is the entire reason I am on this stage," he said, getting choked up as he explained how much she has supported him.

We'll have to wait until the episode airs on NBC tonight at 8 p.m. ET to find out which coach Mero chooses.
