'Voice' Star Chloe Kohanski Wowed Coaches And Fans By Covering A Cyndi Lauper Classic

She impresses us "time after time."

Voice contestant Chloe Kohanski has been impressing us "time after time" on the show's latest season, so it was only appropriate that she sing Cyndi Lauper's classic "Time After Time" for her performance in Monday night's Playoffs.

This round determines which artists will advance to the Top 12, and Kohanski definitely brought it. You might remember that she joined Blake Shelton's team in the Knockout rounds after coach Miley Cyrus chose her opponent. "I have wanted you on my team every single time you've set foot on that stage," Shelton told her.

Kohanski already impressed us with covers of two Fleetwood Mac classics  "Landslide" in the Knockout round and "The Chain" in her blind audition, which turned three coaches' chairs. This latest performance showed us her unique voice is just as suited to other artists' songs — and possibly, in the future, her own.

"I love her voice," Cyrus commented to Adam Levine during the performance. Meanwhile, fans on YouTube think she could take the whole season. "If Blake continues to pick the right songs, she could potentially win," one commenter wrote.

We're excited to hear more from Kohanski, as Shelton chose her to remain on his team in the Top 12.
