These 'Voice' Singers Were The Perfect Pair To Take On A Whitney Houston Classic

Watch them battle it out.

Earlier this week on The Voice, we were blown away by a battle between Chris Weaver and Kathrina Feigh on Jennifer Hudson's team. Then on Tuesday night, we were wowed by yet another Team Jennifer match-up, this time between Davon Fleming and Maharasyi.

Fleming made it onto Hudson's team from a blind audition that turned all four coaches' chairs. He and Hudson bonded over their shared love for Whitney Houston. Meanwhile, according to her bio, Maharasyi's aunt Emilia Contessa was a pop star known as the "Whitney Houston of Indonesia."

In other words, they were the perfect pair to take on the Whitney Houston classic "I'm Your Baby Tonight," turning it into more of a lively duet than an aggressive battle — they even wore complementary outfits. That didn't stop them from bringing their A game, though.

"They need to make a record together...great combo!" wrote one YouTube commenter.

Hudson was once again left with a difficult decision. "I'd push for both of y'all," fellow coach Miley Cyrus said in her critique. "I'm equally a fan of both of you, which doesn't help too much." Blake Shelton, meanwhile, considered their performances to be "two four-chair turns."
