This Battle Between Two Young Singers On 'The Voice' Was Pure Sunshine

Wait until you see the grand finale.

While Monday night's battles on The Voice saw the show's youngest contestant holding his own against a singer more than twice his age, on Tuesday night, coach Blake Shelton paired up two teenage singers on his team for a positively adorable performance.

Aliyah Moulden, 15, and Dawson Coyle, 18, sang a duet of "Walking on Sunshine" by Katrina & the Waves. But the song choice wasn't the only bright and sunny part of their performance. Although many battle competitors tend to keep their distance on the stage, Aliyah and Dawson made sure to interact with each other throughout the song — even taking a few opportunities to dance. Their grand finale involved a dip that made Blake grin from ear to ear.

The teens' coach praised the "youthfulness" and "fun" of their performance, and fans of the show seem to agree.

"They were so cute together like what the hell," wrote one commenter on YouTube

"Holy crap that was amazing, great chemistry!" wrote another.

In the end, Blake chose to keep Aliyah on his team, but it wasn't the end of the line for Dawson, as Alicia Keys pushed her button to steal him.
