Taylor Swift Gets Us Even More Excited For Her Album With Fun New Song 'Gorgeous'

"You're so gorgeous / I can't say anything to your face."

Taylor Swift may have shown off a darker side on her recent single "Look What You Made Me Do," but Friday's new release "Gorgeous" is a more lighthearted option, perfect for heading into the weekend. After teasing the tune on Instagram, Swift dropped it at midnight, getting fans even more hyped for her new album Reputation.

"Gorgeous" will probably be relatable to anyone who's ever had a crush on someone who's just so ... well ... gorgeous. "You're so gorgeous / I can't say anything to your face / 'Cause look at your face," Swift sings in the chorus of the bubbly track. "And I'm so furious at you for making me feel this way / But what can I say? / You're gorgeous."

The song definitely shows off Swift's sense of humor. Some fans seem particularly fond of a line mentioning the singer's cats. "There's nothing I hate more than what I can't have," Swift sings. "Guess I'll just stumble on home to my cats ... alone / Unless you want to come along?"

"Gorgeous" is the third song Swift has released from her upcoming sixth studio album Reputation, due out November 10. In addition to the already infmaous "Look What You Made Me Do," the singer also shared the track "Ready For It" last month.

According to Billboard, Swift has been giving fans an early taste of the full album by hosting private listening parties in places such as London and Rhode Island. Swift did the same for fans prior to the release of 1989 in 2014.
