This Cover Of Taylor Swift's 'I Did Something Bad' Will Make You Feel So, So Good

Slay, ladies!

If there was ever going to be a Broadway show with Taylor Swift songs, we hope this is what it looks and sounds like. Shoshana Bean and Cynthia Erivo, two powerhouse vocalists and pals, teamed up to take on the reputation hit "I Did Something Bad" and completely blew us away — with stone-cold faces, to boot.

"It's not often that I [am] moved to do a cover. I have to be pretty crazy about the song. This one was love at first listen and has STAYED on repeat," Bean wrote on YouTube. "And who to make music with than this brilliant friend of mine? In the 4 years we've known each other this marks the FIRST time we've actually sung together."

This collaboration was long worth the wait, though, as both Bean — who has been in Hairspray as well as Wicked — and Erivo — who won a Tony for The Color Purple — slay this tune. "I Did Something Bad" was written by Swift, Max Martin, and Shellback. Ryan Parma shot this video, which features cellist April Guthrie and viola player Kiara Perico in addition to the vocals.

During the clip, both Bean and Erivo are stationary and give us their best poker face while breaking that fourth wall. The singers break only to belt out the lyrics to this sultry and powerful take on Swift's song, make even more dramatic having been slowed down. Bean and Erivo harmonize together to pack a one-two punch that even caught Swift's attention.

The 27-year-old took to Twitter to call the cover "absolutely stunning" — and we have to agree.

They did something bad and, yes, it was so good.
