When two songs go by the same name, YouTube sensation Sam Tsui knows exactly what to do: mash them up

In a video uploaded to Tsui's YouTube channel, Tsui and his husband Casey Breves mash up Shawn Mendes's "Youth" with Troye Sivan's hit of the same name. The mash-up begins with Breves singing Sivan's chorus, and then Tsui joins in with Mendes' lyrics. Together, it makes for one seamlessly beautiful rendition we've had on repeat for days.

This isn't the first time Tsui and Breves have put together our favorite songs: in 2015, the pair sang Sam Smith's "Not the Only One" with Ed Sheeran's "Thinking Out Loud."And in 2017, they sang Smith's "Too Good at Goodbyes" with Sheeran's "Perfect."

This time around, Tsui recognized the potential for a "Youth" mash-up when he heard Mendes' song.

"I knew I had to do this mashup — the two songs, though super different, actually went together pretty well, and as always I hope you enjoy the result," Tsui writes on YouTube.

"This is so awesome!! But I would expect nothing less from these two. Amazing job, guys!!" one viewer comments on the performance.
