Last year, Sam Smith released his album The Thrill Of It All, with songs such as "Too Good at Goodbyes" and "Pray" among its hits. Now, down a narrow street in Verona, Italy, Smith's performs another one of the album's tracks alongside backup singers.

The performance, uploaded to YouTube, is a live, acoustic rendition of "Baby, You Make Me Crazy," featuring Smith singing lyrics such as "So I'm gonna play my favourite rhythm / Got to get you out my system / I would do anything to keep you off my mind / I'm gonna have to call my sisters / Be around the ones who listen / Anything to drown you out tonight."

It's a beautiful, simple performance accompanied by a single guitarist.

"This dude is blessed with an amazing voice!" one person comments on YouTube.

"I don't have words for how beautiful this is," another writes.

This isn't the first time Smith's impressed us with his live vocal chops: in 2017, Smith sang a slow version of Disclosure's "Latch" at a wedding. He also took on James Corden's Carpool Karaoke and performed "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" in the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge
