A 'Tale As Old As Time' Sounds Fresh And New In This Band’s Jazzy ‘Beauty And The Beast’ Cover

Such a unique take on the original.

We don't think we'll ever get over the magic that is Beauty and the Beast, from the original film to its live-action remake starring Emma Watson. And while the movie's soundtrack never seems to get old, one group's giving it a vintage twist in the best way possible, performing a jazz rendition of the song, "Beauty and the Beast."

In a video from Postmodern Jukebox, Aubrey Logan performs vocals and trombone, with Adam Kubota on the bass, Nate Laguzza on the drums, and Scott Bradlee on the guitar and piano. The cover maintains the song's original, slow tempo, but the jazzy instrumentals offer us something we've never heard before.

Some viewers have since commented that they'd like to hear other songs from the movie in such a style, with others offering their positive feedback: "This is one of your best you've done," one person writes.

"Amazing as always," another adds. "I always thought this song was missing a trombone solo!"

So whether you're a Disney fanatic or just looking for something to listen to throughout the day, check out Postmodern Jukebox's cover below:
