Macklemore And Kesha Perform 'Good Old Days' On 'Ellen,' Reminding Us To Embrace The Now

On repeat.

Recently, two of our favorite artists — Macklemore and Kesha — took to The Ellen Show's stage to perform "Good Old Days," a track from Macklemore's latest album, Gemini.

Released just last week, Gemini features other songs and artists such as "Marmalade" with Lil Yachty and "Glorious" with Skylar Grey. For "Glorious' " music video, Macklemore surprised his grandmother on her 100th birthday and let her do whatever she wanted to do for the day, which included thrift shopping, egging a house, and more.

Meanwhile, Kesha's been making her own strides in the music industry with Rainbow, her first album in nearly four years

Naturally, we love that the two artists have collaborated on "Good Old Days," a song Macklemore says took just a few hours to make.  Moreover, it features empowering lyrics, such as: "We've come so far, I guess I'm proud / And I ain't worried about the wrinkles around my smile / I've got some scars / I've been around / I've thrown some pain, I've seen some things, but I'm here now."

"She's amazing," Macklemore tells Billboard about working with Kesha. "She's just a beautiful soul. She's got a beautiful voice, she is just as much, if not more, a beautiful person. She's been nothing but awesome to work with."

And with that, check out their performance on Ellen below:
