HAIM Covers Shania Twain's 'That Don't Impress Me Much,' And We're Definitely Impressed

"It's hard to cover Shania. She's a queen."

We already loved HAIM's creative take on Selena Gomez's hit "Bad Liar," and now the trio of talented sisters (Danielle, Este, and Alana) has doubled down on amazing covers by performing a stripped-down version Shania Twain's "That Don't Impress Me Much" for Australian radio show Triple J's "Like a Version" cover series.

It's good timing, considering this year marks the 20th anniversary of Come On Over, the album on which the song appears. (It just so happens to be the best-selling country album of all time.)

HAIM recently released a new album of their own, titled Something to Tell You. Twain seems to be a fan, as she took to Twitter earlier this month to congratulate them. She also previously shared a video of the band performing another one of her hits, "Man! I Feel Like a Woman," at a Los Angeles pop-up shop last month.

The radio show's hosts brought up Twain's Twitter shout-out after HAIM's performance, and the women shared how much it meant to them. "You're actually seeing three ghosts right now," Este joked.

Alana explained that she and her sisters "worship" Twain. "I hope we did a good job. It's hard to cover Shania. She's a queen."

We definitely think they did the queen justice while putting their own unique spin on the song at the same time. We especially love Este's delivery of Twain's sassy asides about her potential suitors.
