Last week, Drake made headlines for the good deed spree he went on in Miami while filming the music video for his latest hit, "God's Plan." He donated to a local high school and performed for students, awarded a college student with a $50,000 scholarship toward her tuition, bought groceries for strangers, donated to a women's shelter, and more.

Today he dropped the official music video for the track, in which he reveals that he gave away nearly $1 million. The video, which was directed by Karena Evans, opens with the caption, "The budget for this video was $996,631.90. We gave it all away. Don't tell the label."

The official video shows those generous efforts previously reported as well as several other heartwarming moments. Miami residents of all ages are seen throughout the video laughing, crying, dancing, and singing. Rather than being all about the rapper, it feels like a tribute to these people.

Toward the end of the video, Drake turns to a son sitting with his mom and says, "We're nothing without our mothers. Gotta make sure you take care of your mom, too, no matter what you do. It's all we got. Trust me. That's my world."

After filming last week, Drake also took to social media to share his experience helping people in Miami. "Last 3 days were the best I have had in a very long time...there's nothing like seeing people experience a joyful moment when you can tell they need it the most," he wrote on Instagram.

Yesterday, ahead of the music video's release, he posted a photo of the clapboard from the shoot on Instagram. "The most important thing I have ever done in my career," he captioned the photo.
