If the "Accelerate" music video didn't sufficiently whet your appetite for Christina Aguilera's forthcoming album Liberation, her song "Twice" will have you counting down the days until June 15. There's a reason we've missed her so much since her last album was released in 2012, and it's on display in this powerful new ballad.

While "Accelerate" (featuring Ty Dolla $ign and 2 Chainz) had more of a hip-hop flair, Aguilera strips things back on "Twice," with her powerful voice backed by a simple piano after an acapella opening. The singer called the track one of the "many moods" on her new album, writing on Instagram, "Love the raw vocal quality on this and the spiritual emotion & tone it captures/conveys for me."

"Sometimes I wonder what is the meaning of my life / I found the price of love and lost my mind," Aguilera sings in the chorus. "I will forgive them all of my wrongs and my rights / I'd do it all again and won't think twice, won't think twice." The emotion of the song may remind some of her iconic anthem "Beautiful."

Before releasing Liberation, Aguilera will perform a new track called "Fall in Line" with Demi Lovato at the Billboard Music Awards on May 20. Tickets for her Liberation Tour go on sale May 18, so start planning for the new era.
