'Voice' Winner Chris Blue Joins Usher To Sing A Moving Tribute To Manchester

Watch them perform "Everybody Hurts."

Tuesday night marked the season 12 finale of The Voice. At the end of it all, Chris Blue of Team Alicia was named the winner. His many energetic performances throughout the season made him a frontrunner and ultimately carried him through to the end.

Before the champion was named, however, the final four contestants performed duets with famous artists. Blue teamed up with former Voice coach Usher for a moving rendition of "Everybody Hurts" by R.E.M. Before the pair sang, host Carson Daly announced that the performance was dedicated to the victims of Monday's bombing at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, England, in which 22 people were killed.

The Voice Twitter account described it as "a performance we all needed." It certainly seems to have resonated with a lot of viewers, who shared their praise for the singers on social media.

Blue spoke about the performance later in an interview alongside coach Alicia Keys, in which he shared that Usher told him before they took the stage, "Chris, I don't want you to try to sing this song. I want you to emotionally embrace this song."

He definitely did that. We can't wait to see what's next for Chris Blue.
