Fans Requested This 'Voice' Singer Perform Pink's 'What About Us,' And She Delivered

Brooke Simpson continues to slay.

For Monday night's Top 11 performances on The Voice, the remaining singers took on songs that had been requested by fans. For some, such as the talented Chloe Kohanski, that meant going for a more classic choice. Brooke Simpson's fans, meanwhile, opted for a more recent hit — Pink's "What About Us."

According to Gossip Cop, Simpson and her coach Miley Cyrus revealed in rehearsals that they had already been considering the emotional tune for "months," but decided to pay homage to Simpson's Native American heritage by adding drums. The results, combined with Simpson's powerhouse voice (and a badass hair whip), were beautiful.

When it came time for judging, coach Adam Levine told Simpson she had a "special ability" to make such a popular song personal to her. Cyrus agreed, telling her artist, "Sometimes when something's on the radio and people know it so well, it's hard to make it your own, but you did it perfectly this week."

Cyrus also told fans they should look forward to Brooke's eventual record. We'll find out tonight if viewers liked her performance enough to send her into the Top 10, but we have a feeling we'll see yet another amazing performance from her on next week's show.
