You Do Not Want To Miss 'Voice' Star Brooke Simpson's Latest Powerhouse Performance

Watch her totally slay "It's a Man's Man's Man's World."

We've been fans of Voice star Brooke Simpson since she first turned all four coaches' chairs in her blind audition with a cover of Demi Lovato's "Stone Cold." Her Knockout round performance of Aretha Franklin's "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman," meanwhile, had both Adam Levine and fans predicting she'll be in the finale.

At the very least, she's made it to the live shows. Wednesday night's Playoff performance earned Simpson a spot in the show's Top 12, on Team Miley Cyrus, along with fellow female vocalists Ashland Craft and Janice Freeman. It's all thanks to Simpson's fierce rendition of James Brown's "It's a Man's Man's Man's World."

"This is a man's world," the song goes. "But it wouldn't be nothing, nothing without a woman or a girl." Or without this performance, we've decided.

"Miley, she's pushing and challenging me to sing in ways that I didn't even know on this song," Simpson said before taking the stage, according to Gossip Cop.

Not only did she slay the vocals, but she also commanded the stage like a total pro, bringing power and attitude to the larger-than-life performance. She even ended with a badass mic stand drop that had the crowd going wild.

The coaches praised the 26-year-old's performance across the board, calling it everything from "mind-blowing" to "flawless." Cyrus even said it "the perfect performance." According to Gold Derby, Adam Levine compared Simpson to current and former coaches Jennifer Hudson and Christina Aguilera, and we couldn't agree more.
