Monday night marked the first part of the Voice season 13 finale, as the top four artists — Addison Agen, Chloe Kohanski, Red Marlow, and Brooke Simpson — performed covers, original songs, and duets with their coaches. For Simpson, that meant teaming up with Miley Cyrus on one of the star's biggest hits: "Wrecking Ball."

Ever since she earned a four-chair turn during her blind audition, Simpson has been wowing us with powerhouse performances imbued with powerful meaning, from Pink's "What About Us" to Kesha's "Praying." She previously performed with Cyrus and the rest of her all-women's team on Shania Twain's "Man! I Feel Like a Woman," but it was nice to see them perform one on one this time.

According to Just Jared, this is the first time Cyrus has had an artist in the show's finale, and she couldn't ask for a better singer to represent her. She and Simpson wore coordinating silver outfits as they performed Cyrus' 2013 hit against an industrial backdrop — reminiscent of the singer's iconic music video, sans wrecking ball.

We'll have to wait until tonight's results show to find out if Simpson will be crowned the winner of this season, but there's no denying how many people admire her talent. "I'M HERE FOR IT. GRAMMY PERFORMANCE RIGHT THERE," one user wrote on YouTube. Another called it "THE BEST DUET EVER."
