Ariana Grande And John Legend's Music Video For 'Beauty And The Beast' Is A Total Fairy Tale

Belle and the Beast even make a cameo.

Disney continues to tease this month's new live-action Beauty and the Beast movie, this time by releasing the official music video for Ariana Grande and John Legend's performance of the title song.

The number, which was written by Howard Ashman and Alan Menken, was originally performed by Angela Lansbury — the voice of Mrs. Potts — in the 1991 animated film, with an end-credits version sung by Celine Dion and Peabo Bryson. (Dion is returning to perform a new song for the live-action film's soundtrack.)

As the classic story is brought to life for a whole new generation, it makes sense to have two of today's biggest artists perform the film's most iconic song. In the video, Grande and Legend appear in the ballroom of the Beast's castle, with Grande wearing a showstopping red dress surrounded by petal-like dancers, and Legend looking princely at the piano.

As they sing, Belle and the Beast appear in a sneak peek of the famous dance scene, giving us a glimpse of Emma Watson's yellow gown in action. The actress worked with the film's costume designer to create a dress without a corset to reflect her updated interpretation of the character.
