Four Women Directed A Film In A Male-Dominated Genre, And We Can't Wait To See It

More women in the game is nothing to be afraid of.

Every now and then, we at A Plus enjoy a good scary movie. And thanks to some talented filmmakers, we can even watch fresh and frightening flicks on our phones.

But one thing that is rare is seeing a horror film directed by a woman. Fortunately, there's one premiering at the Sundance Film Festival directed by four.

XX is the anthology-style film that features the work of actress and new director Annie Clark, Karyn Kusama (The Invitation, Jennifer's Body), former Rue Morgue editor Jovanka Vuckovic, and Roxanne Benjamin, who wrote and produced VHS and Southbound.
