Artist Reimagines Your 'Game Of Thrones' Faves As Tim Burton Characters In The Mash-Up You Never Knew You Needed

From Jon Snow to Daenerys Targaryen and everyone in between.

Are you a fan of both Tim Burton works and the TV juggernaut that is Game of Thrones? If so, we have the perfect thing for you — a glorious mash-up of two things that you never knew you needed.

Russian-born artist Andrew Tarusov — who has previously given us Game of Thrones characters as pin-up girls and Disney Princesses as pin-up girls — has given nearly 20 of your favorite Westeros residents, from Jon Snow to Daenerys Targaryen and others, a makeover courtesy of the style of one of America's most unique filmmakers. We promise you've never seen them like this before.

Burton is best known for directing films such as Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, Sleepy Hollow, Sweeney Todd, Alice in Wonderland, and many others. That said, his most famous work is most likely The Nightmare Before Christmas, which he produced and conceived. He has earned Oscar nominations for Corpse Bride and Frankenweenie.

Tarusov told A Plus he is a big fan of both Game of Thrones and Burton's works, and that he "always challenges himself to combine things which are not obviously matching." By doing this, Tarusov has already given Disney characters and superhero characters the Burton treatment. These three series, though technically different because of the characters they focus on and reimagine, are all united by the same idea and you can tell they all are Burton-esque.

With the latest season of Game of Thrones having just ended and a long wait in store for you before the final season, hopefully, these images will hold you over until it returns.
