Women 100 And Older Talk About Personal Style, And They're Keeping It Beautifully Simple

"You just like what you like."

Do you ever look back at your old photos and think, "What was I wearing?" These days, it feels like it's hard to keep up with the ever-changing trends within the fashion and beauty industries. However, these trends don't have to define your style, and recently, one group of centenarians sat down with Allure magazine to talk style advice. In doing so, they prove it's important for us to dress in a way that's best for our own lifestyles and for our confidence, too.

"I like it to be tailored, and smart-looking, and comfortable, that's all," one woman begins.

"I shop in my closet. It's a good way of shopping when you get to be 100," another says.

Later in the video, one woman explains why she started wearing pants rather than skirts and dresses.

"In the beginning, I never [wore] pants to school. I don't know, I thought it was ladylike to wear pantyhose and skirts and so-on. But then when I started to wear pants. I didn't have to pull on the pantyhose at all, and I felt good."

Finally, one woman sums up personal style plain and simple:

"You just like what you like."

And there's nothing wrong with that. Check out more in the full video below:
