Prepare For The Return Of 'Will & Grace' By Watching The Cast Put Lyrics To The Theme Song

We're going to have this in our heads all season.

More than 10 years after the series finale, Will & Grace is returning for a new season on NBC this Thursday, September 28. To celebrate the revival, Jimmy Fallon invited the cast on The Tonight Show to sing the show's theme song.

Of course, if you're a fan of the series, you'll know that the theme song doesn't have any words. But that didn't stop Debra Messing, Eric McCormack, Megan Mullally, and Sean Hayes — who got together this time last year to encourage Americans to vote — from adding a few lyrics to the piano tune.

Messing and McCormack start things off by reminding us of the characters they play and letting us know that the show's coming back. They're accompanied by backup dancers as they sing the song's chorus: "Get down! Will & Grace is coming to town!"

"It's more fun than you could ever know," Mullally then sings of the new season. "Only show on NBC not set in Chicago." Hayes, meanwhile, sounds a little disappointed that he can't curse on the network.

They even gave Fallon himself a quick verse, even if he couldn't get a cameo on the show.
