People Discuss What They Do When They Feel Like A Failure

The simplest things can make a big difference.

Everybody has their good days and their bad days. During those bad days, feelings of failure can start to creep up. It's OK to not feel OK sometimes. During those moments, we are often still searching for something to spur us on and kick start our determination and positive attitudes again.

A Redditor recently posed the question, "What do you do when you feel like a failure" on the Ask Reddit subreddit. The responses have shown that no one is alone in feeling like a failure. What's more, they highlight how small, easy-to-do things can change a person's outlook.

Here are a few simple ways some people overcome feeling like a failure.

1. Tweak your thoughts.

2. Go back to the basics.

3. Have a non-zero day.

4. ... Or have a zero day and enjoy relaxing.

5. Recognize today is a new day.

6. Spend some time with someone you love.

7. Allow yourself a mourning period, then refocus.

8. Get out of the house.

9. Consider your new perspective on old failures.

10. Play a game you enjoy.

11. Recall situations in the past that you were proud of.

12. Think about the situation and try and laugh.

13. Make your bed.
