You've Never Seen A 'Mission: Impossible' Scene Like The One Jimmy Fallon And Tom Cruise Wrote

They can't keep it together.

On Monday, Tom Cruise visited The Tonight Show to promote his new movie Mission: Impossible - Fallout, and Jimmy Fallon had quite the game waiting for him. The pair played "Mad Lib Theater," which might be even more ridiculous than their previous dramatic reading, "Kid Theater."

If you've never seen Fallon perform one of these skits with his guests, the idea is that they first fill out a mad lib version of a scene (in this case, one from a not-so-serious spy movie) and then act it out, all the while trying to keep a straight face through the silliness.

Fallon asked Cruise to think up some random words and phrases, from a plural type of profession ("sanitation engineers") to something you would say when a spider climbs up your leg ("Come here, darling"). The result was a scene that had the pair cracking up behind their newspapers.

"Where the doody head are we gonna get 1,000,256 sofas?" Cruise's character wonders when Fallon informs him that his Aunt Ingrid is being held hostage for just such a ransom. It's a good thing he has a foolproof plan to disguise himself as Huckleberry Finn.
