James Corden Got The Entire 'Thor' Cast To Act Out The Movie Live In Front Of Fans

"Thor: Ragnarok 4D" was a hit.

Thor: Ragnarok was at the top of the box office this weekend, but one group of fans got an extra-special experience when the cast showed up in person to perform a live version of the movie. And they have James Corden to thank for it.

You've seen the Late Late Show host act out Broadway musicals in crosswalks before. These days, his latest theatrical experiment is 4-D movies, which he calls "action literally leaping off the screen." You could also call it a play, but we'll humor him.

Corden tried out his new cinematic concept on some unsuspecting fans at a screening of the new Thor. Mere minutes into the movie, the host interrupted things to bring out the entire main cast — Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Cate Blanchett, Mark Ruffalo, Jeff Goldblum, and Tessa Thompson — for a live reenactment of the rest of the story.

The performance came complete with cardboard backdrops and a few thrown-together costumes — some more convincing than others. Jeff Goldblum, for example, seems to be dressed more like himself than his character the Grandmaster. Still, the audience didn't seem to mind.

"It's like a third grade production with the most professional actors," one YouTube commenter wrote to describe the performance. "Genius! I love it!"
