These Teachers Went Back To School In Style With This Epic Flash Mob

"One day more ..."

Back-to-school season typically focuses on students and their parents, but too few look at it from the perspective of the teachers who give their all to educate the next generation.

The day before school started for the 2015-2016 school year, there was an assembly for the teachers at West Des Moines Community School District led by Dr. Lisa Remy, the superintendent. 


The assembly started out normally enough, with the superintendent giving the teachers a pep talk about the school year.

While the superintendent meant well, the speech wasn't exactly whipping the crowd into a frenzy.

Upon hearing the teachers had "one day more" to prepare before the students arrived, a lone teacher appeared with a microphone.

And that's when things started to get real.

The teacher began to sing a parodied version of "One Day More" from "Les Miserables."

The ensemble continued to grow, as more than two dozen teachers sang about the upcoming school year and "one day more" until the students came.

Those who weren't in on the gag were thrilled by the spectacle, but also had to have been thinking:
