This Young Taylor Swift Fan Can't Make It To Her Concert, So The Singer Came To Her

"She said she had to meet her because she was so inspired by her story."

A young Taylor Swift fan was disappointed to be missing Swift's concert in Phoenix this week, so the singer did something special for her. Eight-year-old Isabella McCune is in the hospital after she was severely burned in a fire pit explosion in March. Lucky for her, Swift decided to pay her a surprise visit.

"Taylor took time out of her busy, busy schedule and sat down on the bed next to Isabella," Isabella's mother, Lilly McCune, told People. "She brought her a bag with goodies from her tour. She said she had to meet her because she was so inspired by her story and honored that her music helped her."

Last month, Isabella's story made local news, as she shared that she was walking again and added how much it would mean if Swift visited her. "There's so many people supporting me, so many people I haven't met," she said. "So yeah, it would mean a lot if she came."

Swift gave Isabella a hug when she asked for one, telling her she didn't want to hurt her. "They hugged and it was so heartfelt. I knew it meant a lot to Isabella," her mother said of the moment. She added that Isabella was "shocked" and "speechless" to see Swift walk into the room.

Isabella has reportedly undergone 11 operations, including skin grafting on 50 percent of her body. During painful dressing changes, her mother shared that the staff plays Swift's music for Isabella to distract her. She particularly likes Swift's recent hit "...Ready For It?"

"She wanted to tell Taylor the difference she's making in her recovery," her mother explained.

That's not to only way Swift gave back to her fans before her Reputation Tour starts. Swift reportedly invited a group of foster families — 2,000 guests in total — to watch her final dress rehearsal at the University of Phoenix Stadium this weekend. She also gave them free pizza and posed for photos.

Swift has a history of surprising her fans. She recently showed up to perform at the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, where she was first discovered. Before that, she invited a group of fans to her home to hear her new album before its release. They appeared in the music video for "New Year's Day."
