A Sand Artist Created A Memorial To The Victims Of The Christchurch Shootings

Sudarsan Pattnaik did his part to send love to the victims.

An award-winning sand artist in India created a tribute to the victims of last week's mass shootings in New Zealand.

Sudarsan Pattnaik, who is known for using his art to encourage progress and honor thought leaders, sent out an impactful message to the world last Friday. "One World One Message: End Terrorism," the piece said. It also asked people to pray for the New Zealand victims.

Pattnaik created the piece after 49 people were killed when two mosques were attacked in Christchurch, New Zealand during Friday morning prayers. Visitors at the beach in Puri, India stopped to take photos of the sand sculpture, which was shared widely on social media.
