The Kids From 'Stranger Things' Passed Out PB&J Sandwiches At The Emmys

Emmys host Jimmy Kimmel had a delicious surprise for those attending the awards ceremony Sunday night. He acknowledged that people didn't have anything to eat during the long telecast, so he cut to his mom backstage making snacks.

"My mother made 7,000 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches," Jimmy explained. "Is anyone hungry right now?"

The answer was obviously yes. But Jimmy had another surprise in store to make the whole thing even more fun. He announced that the kids from Stranger Things would be passing out the sandwiches.

Sure enough, Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas), and Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin) rode in on bikes wearing their '80s attire from the show. Millie was even wearing Eleven's blonde wig.

The show's young stars have been warming out hearts all summer, both on and off the screen. Last month, Gaten shared his appreciation for fans on Instagram, and Millie recently revealed her hope that girls with cancer would be inspired by her short hair. The Emmys were just the icing on the cake — or the peanut butter on the sandwich.

The kids stole the show before it even started. In a moment that wasn't televised but was captured by the audience, they put on a delightful performance of "Uptown Funk."
