The 'Stranger Things' Kids Take On A Whole New Kind Of Monster In Ellen's Latest Game

The Demogorgon was easy compared to this.

In season 1, the young stars of Stranger Things battled the Demogorgon. We'll have to wait until the second season debuts this Friday on Netflix to find out what new creatures await the gang, but in the meantime, Ellen DeGeneres introduced them to her very own monster — the "One-Eyed Monster."

DeGeneres debuted the game for her audience members earlier this year, and on Wednesday's show, she welcomed Finn Wolfhard, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, and Gaten Matarazzo to give it a whirl. It was just as much fun as you'd expect from these four.

The first part of the game involves trivia questions, for which the answer is always a number between one and five. If the answer is one, but a team guesses four, they have to make up the difference by pulling three teeth from the monster's mouth.

The catch? One of the teeth is especially sensitive, and the monster closes its mouth and eat whoever is inside if that one is pulled. To add some suspense, the jaws close slightly every time a tooth is pulled, even if it's not the wrong one.

The kids answer questions like "How many games are there in the World Series?" and "How many times has [Stranger Things co-star] Winona Ryder been nominated for an Oscar?"

One question that really trips them up is how many members are in Fifth Harmony. Don't let the name fool you. Since Camila Cabello left the group last year, it's only four. Be honest — would you have had to pull a tooth for that?
