These Celebrities Gave Us What We Really, Really Want And Performed The Spice Girls' 'Wannabe'

"I'm obsessed with the Spice Girls."

It's been 21 years since Scary, Sporty, Ginger, Baby, and Posh broke onto the scene with their debut single "Wannabe," and taught the world a little something about girl power. To mark the song's anniversary, W Magazine got some of our favorite celebrities together for another installment of its Lyrical Improv series.

"I'm obsessed with the Spice Girls," declares Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown before kicking off a collaborative performance of the track that was once found to be the catchiest pop song since the 1940s.

Brown opts to perform the song like the ladies originally intended it, while other stars use more of a spoken word approach. Some, like Nicole Kidman and Milo Ventimiglia, put their own dramatic spin on the lyrics — giving us what we never knew we'd want, what we'd really, really want.

W Magazine also asked the participating stars who their favorite Spice Girl was. A few of the most devoted fans knew instantly. Kidman, for example, mentioned Posh Spice. "She's got an amazing life. I wore one of her dresses recently and I was, like, oh, this is heaven," she said.

For Riz Ahmed, the answer was Mel B, aka Scary. "She did rock it, man. She still does," he said.
