This Woman Totaled A Twitter Troll Who Criticized Olympic Gold Medalists' Bikini Photo

Sit. Down.

After a stunning Olympics performance all-around, Team USA returned to American soil as national heroes. But the team's crowning glory was undoubtedly the Final Five, the women's gymnastics quintet whose dominance at Rio de Janeiro was utterly indisputable

But even the most stellar athletes in the world can't escape misogyny — just ask Serena Williams. Over the weekend, Simone Biles, the greatest gymnast of all time, posted a photo on Instagram from a beach in Rio with fellow teammates Aly Raisman and Madison Kocian.

Decked in bikinis, the trio looked as happy as Olympic gold medalists enjoying the beach would.

But because we live in an age with grossly narrow beauty standards, people on social media made many snide comments about these Olympians' bodies.

One Twitter user in particular took issue with how "unattractive" muscles were on women, apparently. "Y'all find this attractive?" the troll asked in a now-deleted tweet. But the response from one Crystal McDuffy, a University of Florida student, was the spectacular comeback that this display of ignorance deserved.

"They're the best gymnasts in the world," McDuffy tweeted. "I promise you, they didn't get those abs to impress your dusty ass."

In an interview with BuzzFeed, McDuffy said that a woman's value constantly seemed to be at the mercy of the male gaze. "Everything women do is not for male consumption or approval," she added.
