There are a million reasons to be angry in this world, but staying that way all the time is just mad. 

"At the root of some of our angriest moods lies a surprising emotion: optimism," The School of Life wrote about its latest video, "How not to be Angry all the Time."  

The three-minute animated clip shows a man named Fred, who becomes enraged by three everyday situations, but there's a common bond, "because he is, deep inside, so hopeful." 

Coping with the everyday annoyances of life can be done without flaring nostrils, slamming fists, or escalating your voice to an ear-shattering volume, and The School of Life — which is devoted to developing emotional intelligence through the help of culture — hopes to help others address the issue of anger by starting on the inside. From that vantage point, people who are furious all the time may be perceived differently, but The School of Life may have a solution.
