Girls Killed In Tragic Car Crash Inspire Random Acts Of Kindness Around The World

May they rest in peace.

On the one month anniversary of what was a tragic day for many, people around the world will be spreading kindness.

Abby Leifer, 19, and Hannah Porter, 20, of Red Bud, Illinois were killed on January 10, 2015, after a car swerved into their lane and hit them. Brandy Muertz, Abby's sister, set up a Facebook page in their honor. But the page isn't just for remembrance. Muertz hopes that on the one-month anniversary of the young women's deaths, people will perform a Random Act of Kindness in their memory.

"It makes me feel better because it's Abby and Hannah helping people," she told news station KFVS12.

So far, over 8,000 people have RSVP'd "going" to the event.

The page is already filled with Abby and Hannah vouchers that will lead to the page when scanned, and many have already began spreading the word and kindness.
