Moms Are Creating Beautiful 'Tree Of Life' Photos To Help Normalize Breastfeeding

Absolutely stunning.

Moms have been taking to social media to show that breastfeeding is a normal act with many incredible benefits. To further help get rid of the stigma associated with public breastfeeding, they have started using art to spread their message.

They are using the PicsArt app to turn their breastfeeding photos into artworks using Tree of Life edits. And the resulting images are worthy of a spot in a museum.

The gorgeous photos are being shared on social media with the hashtags #normalizebreastfeeding and #treeoflife and they are going viral all over the world thanks to their beauty as well as for their rich symbolism. The Tree of Life is a symbol that has been used in many cultures since ancient times to represent nourishment, growth, and healing, making it a fitting symbol for breastfeeding.

In addition to posting the breathtaking photos, moms are also sharing their personal stories about breastfeeding to help spread the message. One mama wrote on Instagram, "I know a lot of others don't like me sharing or allowing my son to nurse. But this has been the best moments in our life, being able to share this with my son is so hard to describe to others the feeling of being able to provide for my son along with others helping me. Thank you to others that had help me along the way. As we continue to nurse now been 2 1/2 yrs and still going strong when he wants to nurse."

Others are showing their support for the cause by commenting on the beautiful photos. One Instagram user said, "I think they are gorgeous! Makes me wish I had another bubba to breastfeed."
