'Orange Is The New Black' Stars Crash Fans' Wedding To Give Them The Ultimate Gift

"As an Australian, we've waited a long time for this to happen."

Three cast members from the Netflix series Orange Is the New Black recently gave an Australian couple the perfect surprise for their wedding day. In a video posted on the streaming platform's Facebook page, stars Lea DeLaria, Yael Stone, and Danielle Brookes can be seen crashing the festivities.

The surprise was orchestrated by one half of the couple, Tegan, who wanted to do something special for her bride Louise, who is a huge fan of the show. DeLaria, who plays Big Boo on the series, was the first to show up. Little did Louise know that Stone and Brooks, who play Morello and Taystee, were about to emerge as well.

After plenty of hugs, the stars took the microphone to say a few words to the couple. Stone, who many fans may not realize is Australian herself, shared what the moment meant to her, referring to Australia's recent legalization of same-sex marriage, after 61.6 percent of respondents voted yes to marriage equality in a postal survey.

"As an Australian, we've waited a long time for this to happen," Stone said. "And we're really proud that we can be here and celebrate you guys individually, and celebrate this change across this beautiful country that needed to change."

Tegan and Louise's wedding isn't the only way the cast is celebrating down under. According to Mashable, they're also attending Sydney's Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade this weekend, on the Netflix float.

This actually isn't the first romantic surprise Netflix has made happen for its fans. Back in December, Santa Clarita Diet stars Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant helped a fan propose to his girlfriend. Netflix upped the stakes with this wedding surprise, but we hope there will be even more gestures of the sort to come.
