Police Force's Hilarious Photos Are An Unexpected Way To Add Humor Into Some Tough Work

When thinking about police work, the word "hilarious" probably doesn't come to mind for obvious reasons. Police officers are often dealing with incredibly serious matters, and even put themselves in danger when public safety is at risk.

But despite their serious jobs, one police force in New South Wales (NSW), Australia is inserting a bit of humor in an unexpected place — their Facebook page.

In a series of photos posted to their Facebook, the NSW Police Force is posting animal photos with ridiculous captions that are making people smile. The photos are an excellent opportunity for the force to add a bit of levity and wit to their tougher day-to-day duties.

"Ever wonder what our hard working doggos get up to on a day off?" the police force captions one photo, attached to a picture of a dog hanging out on the playground.

"Ed is not cheerin' that he missed out on Sheeran tickets this afternoon," reads another caption, next to a photo of a cat staring at a computer screen.

Plus, we got a good laugh from a photo of a dog reporting "a missing owner."

"Officer: How long have they been missing?" the force asks. "Doggo: 12 seconds."

The photos are clearly resonating with people, with some collecting well over 10 thousand likes and numerous shares, too.

We appreciate NSW Police Force's sense of humor, and love that they're sharing it with the world.
