Tom Cruise Did One Of The Most Dangerous Stunts An Actor Has Ever Done

Check this out.

From Jackie Chan to Sylvester Stallone, actors who do their own stunts always seem to be valued a little bit higher by their fans.

Enter Tom Cruise. The actor, who plays Ethan Hunt in the latest installment of "Mission Impossible," was seen hanging on the side of an airplane in a trailer for the new movie. Everyone assumed it was CGI, green screen, anything but Tom Cruise actually hanging onto a plane as it takes off. Well, it turns out we were all wrong.

He did it.

It took some focus and bravery.

But also an air of confidence.

"You can't hang a multi-million dollar star on the outside of an airplane and fly around outside in the normal world," stunt coordinator Wade Eastwood said. "But Tom wanted to be on the outside of that plane."

And so he buckled up...

"I couldn't sleep the night before..."

Not only did he do it once, but he did it eight times.

"If something went wrong, I can't get into the airplane until we land."
