Miley Cyrus Sent A Sweet Video To A Las Vegas Shooting Victim In The Hospital

"[I] just want you to know that you’ll be on my mind and on my heart."

Though the news cycle has seemingly moved on from the Las Vegas mass shooting from October 1, which left 59 people dead (including the shooter) plus 546 injured, many are still recovering from the tragic event. One of those people, Katrina Hannah, got a message from a special someone while in the hospital: The Voice coach Miley Cyrus.

The former Hannah Montana star took a break from giving advice while playing with puppies and belting out tunes in the car with James Corden to show some love to Katrina, a super fan.

"Hi Katrina, this is Miley," the "Malibu" singer began. "I've heard about you from so many wonderful people. Your name got to me from so many friends, some contestants on The Voice."

Katrina, who was shot twice — once in the shoulder and once in the neck — at that fateful Jason Aldean concert, is alive today thanks to pal Matt Cuddihy, who used EMT skills to place a tourniquet on her, and Austin Cox, a Marine she had never met, who carried her to the hospital.

"They said that you're a huge fan, and I just wanted you to know that I'm thinking about you all the time. Sending all good, healing, and peaceful vibes to you, all your family, and your friends," the 24-year-old superstar added. "I hope you'll feel better soon and just want you to know that you'll be on my mind and on my heart. See ya!"

In addition to brightening up Katrina's day, Cyrus previously sang a tribute to the Las Vegas victims alongside Adam Sandler.
