Ariana Grande's Brother Frankie Posts A Deeply Personal Tribute To Mac Miller

"Thank you from the bottom of my heart."

Tributes have poured in for Mac Miller since the 26-year-old rapper passed away last week. One particularly touching remembrance comes from Frankie Grande, whose sister Ariana Grande previously dated Miller. Frankie posted his thoughts on Instagram Wednesday.

"I am beyond heartbroken over Malcolm's death," the 35-year-old actor and dancer wrote, alongside a photo of Miller, whose real name was Malcolm McCormick. "He was a good friend and was wonderful to my sister."

Miller struggled with addiction, and is suspected to have died of an overdose. According to Grande, the rapper supported him on his own journey to sobriety.

"He was the reason I went to the rehabilitation center where I was detoxed safely from all of the drugs alcohol and medications I was taking, when I couldn't imagine living without them," Grande wrote of Miller in his tribute.

"I remember when I would get 30, 60, 90 days clean," he continued, "and Malcom would be there with a gift and a card and words of encouragement... telling me that he knew how hard getting sober is and how impressed he was that I was succeeding."

Grande went on to call addiction a "TERRIBLE disease," and encouraged others who are struggling to seek help. "This is a difficult road but YOU DO NOT HAVE TO TRUDGE IT ALONE," he wrote, thanking Miller "from the bottom of my heart" an adding that he is 453 days sober.

Grande also included the phone numbers of several places to get help, including Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, and the Suicide Prevention Lifeline.

Other tributes to Miller have included one from Donald Glover, aka Childish Gambino, who dedicated a performance of his song "Riot" to the late artist. "I feel good about being sad," he told the crowd at his show, "because it tells me he was special, that I had a special moment."
