London Tube Stations Are Spreading Messages Of Strength And Solidarity Following The Attack

The London Underground "Thought of the Day" boards usually give commuters something to smile at or to think about. Following the terror attack in Westminster, Transport for London is now using the boards to spread messages of positivity and strength.

Tube stations around the city are championing strength and solidarity in the face of adversity.

The signs are providing strength for commuters passing by the attack area where four people died and many were injured

Glen Sutherland, a customer service assistant at Oval Station, who also manages the station's Twitter account, told CNN that "all TfL (Transport for London) staff pull together in times like this to be vigilant and to reassure everyone."

The Tower Hill station, a station close to where the incident took place, wrote on its signs, "The flower that blooms in adversity is the rarest and most powerful of them all. #LondonIsOpen #Westminster #WeAreNotAfraid.""
