Feminists Everywhere Had Things To Say About #LikeABoy

An empowering Super Bowl ad brought out the worst in "meninists," and the very best in feminists.

Feminine care product company Always aired an ad during the Super Bowl that begged the question, "When did 'like a girl' become an insult?" It emphasized the fact that a girl's self-esteem plummets during puberty, and it stressed the importance of remaking "like a girl" into a positive affirmation.

But the ad brought out the worst in the self-proclaimed "meninist" community, examples of which have been circulating the Internet since the ad first aired. But rather than dwell on the male backlash, we thought it best to highlight some of the wittiest rebuttals from feminists everywhere. Scroll down to see a handful of our favorites.

Tom Brady was last night's MVP on the field. But Cosmopolitan definitely claimed the title online for many feminists following the all-out social media brawl that was started by the Always ad.
