Adorable Love Story Made Entirely With Latte Art

Not your basic cup of coffee.

When we look at a coffee cup, most of us only see the irreplaceable elixir of life created to help us get through the day. But give that cup to a skillful barista and they will make wonders out of it.

A stop-motion love story done entirely with latte art, for example.


The adorable video was created by a Japanese company Ajinomoto General Foods and promotes its new latte flavor, Maxim Stick. "Latte Motion" was shot over the period of three days using a total of 1,000 cups of coffee.

The drawings were shaped by dusting cocoa powder through a pre-made plastic stencil. Take a look at the video below and see how the "world's first latte art animation" was made.
