We Asked Kids To Manage Money Like Real Grown-Ups, Here's What We Learned

"I'm gonna spend it good."

According to COUNTRY Financial Security Index,  68 percent of Americans believe children should receive an allowance for completing chores. So we invited a bunch of kids to our studio to talk all things money, from earning to spending.

Then we put them to a test.

We gave each kid their two-week allowance all at once, and asked them to budget it out for a day. Like real grown-ups.

From donating to lions in Africa, to buying video games, all the kids had different opinions on how the money should be budgeted and spent.
