BFFs Jimmy Fallon And Justin Timberlake Have A 'Songversation' About Cookies And 'Riverdale'

"It's a new shirt alert!"

The Super Bowl halftime show wasn't Justin Timberlake's only musical performance on Sunday night. He also appeared on his BFF Jimmy Fallon's post-game edition of The Tonight Show, where the pair had a "songversation." It was a lot like their conversation in hashtags from a few years ago, except this time they turned their small talk into songs.

Together, they perform a mini-musical about everything from Timberlake's new shirt ("It's a new shirt alert!") to the last white chocolate macadamia nut cookie ("It's not the last cookie if we split it in two!"). They even sing-talk about what TV series they're watching, from Riverdale to the kids show Paw Patrol

Speaking of dad things, the two also set up a play date for their kids at Chuck E. Cheese — and reveal that the eponymous mouse's birth name is actually Charles Edward Cheese. Their ensuing conversation about Skee-Ball includes a few recognizable tunes, ultimately leading to an appearance from Questlove.

Fallon and Timberlake are two peas in a pod, so it was a given that the singer would appear on the host's post-game show. We'll add this to previous moments such as the History of Rap and their tandem bike ride in the Fallon-Timberlake hall of fame.
