Julia Louis-Dreyfus Updates Fans On Cancer Battle With Cute Mistletoe Pic With Her ‘Hero’

An adorable #MistletoeMoment.

When it comes to having a partner in life, it certainly seems like Julia Louis-Dreyfus has a good one. The Veep actress shared a photo of herself and husband Brad Hall kissing under a bit of mistletoe — clearly still feeling the Christmas spirit, as he is wearing a Santa hat.

The two look super in love in the oh-so-sweet snapshot Louis-Dreyfus shared on Wednesday, December 27, of a "#MistletoeMoment" taken by a friend on Christmas Eve. Just to up the cuteness factor, she added hashtags like "#love" and "#MyHero" — which we assume pertains to Hall.

These days, we're pretty used to seeing Louis-Dreyfus in beast mode as she undergoes chemotherapy during her battle against breast cancer. It's nice to see the 54-year-old Emmy winner be able to take a break, enjoy the holidays, and just relax with family and friends.

When Louis-Dreyfus first announced she had breast cancer — something that affects 1 in 8 women — she pointed out how she is surrounded by those who love her and would be helping her throughout this journey. Hall is one of those people — as is her Veep family and former Vice President Joe Biden, too.

"The good news is that I have the most glorious group of supportive and caring family and friends, and fantastic insurance through my union," Louis-Dreyfus wrote. "The bad news is that not all women are so lucky, so let's fight all cancers and make universal health care a reality."

Louis-Dreyfus and Hall have been married since 1987. They met at Northwestern — where they now cheer on a son who plays on the men's basketball team — and have gone on to work on Saturday Night Live together as well as on projects such as 2002-2003's Watching Ellie.

Seeing family moments like this sure does make us feel holly and jolly inside.
