This Mom Demonstrates What A Powerful Tool Makeup Can Be With The Help Of Her Son

"We're all beautiful in our own way."

Makeup has the power to transform, inspire, and empower us. We have seen the awe-inspiring ways people use makeup to push creative boundaries, but it is also important to recognize the ways it can help people in their daily lives.

Joanne Tronconi is one woman who uses makeup as a transformative tool to help make her feel good in her own skin. She has Klippel-Trénaunay syndrome, a rare condition that is characterized by port-wine birthmarks, abnormal veins, lymphatic anomalies, and overgrowth of bones and soft tissues.

She and her Youtuber son, Matt, posted a beauty tutorial which shows how she uses makeup to boost her confidence.

Tronconi chooses to cover up her facial discoloration with makeup because she says it makes her feel beautiful. The video shows her and Matt going over her usual beauty routine.

Tronconi's transformation highlights the power of makeup, but it is Tronconi's positive message about choosing to wear makeup for herself, that is as important as the photos. Her message is something that she hopes that everyone can remember.

At the end of the video, she says, "We're all beautiful in our own way!"

There are some people who feel proud to show off their birthmarks while there are others like Tronconi who get confidence through covering them up. The key thing is that each of them is making their choice for themselves, and not for others. The result is that they feel confident from the inside out.
