J.K. Rowling's Response To A Photo Of A Newborn Baby's 'Harry Potter Mark' Is The Loveliest Thing You'll See Today

"I'm not going to apologise."

Harry Potter's scar marked his survival from the great evil that is Lord Voldemort, but one real-life toddler's "Harry Potter mark" has gained the admiration of J.K. Rowling. As one of our favorite people on Twitter, the British author is always quick with a comeback and takes the time to communicate with her fans that reach out. On Tuesday, going on a quick break from advocating for social justice to respond to a Harry Potter fan's baby tweet, J.K. Rowling bestowed her good wishes on one lucky newborn.

A new mom on Twitter, who goes by the username @jo_mak, shared a photo with Rowling of her beautiful little girl. She has a birthmark on her forehead that looks similar to Harry's lightning scar.

Rowling responded by retweeting the photo, and commented cheekily that she was not going to apologize because she thought little Sofia looked beautiful.

So, evidently, when she's not taking down bigoted rhetoric on Twitter, comforting struggling fans, or revealing more secrets about the wizarding world, Rowling is still being her fantastic, fabulous self. Will this woman ever stop being amazing? We sure hope not.
